Sorry you guys

It’s been 12 days since I last posted to Tumblr… but I’ve been keeping up with my 365 and have been uploading to Flickr every day :D If you guys can, should check it out at www.flickr.com/imtooolazy :]

Day 12 - Our twine and whit glue dried up easily within the past two days and we took them out today to spray paint gold and somehow collaborate together to mold one large piece of art. Arranging the different pieces was troublesome but fun at the same time and we ended up with this. Had a discussion on where to hang it and decided on the trees on the wall. Hopefully no one takes it down or destroys it anytime soon.

Day 11 - First real day in the workshop where we get to ink up our pexiglass into whatever design we want and it was a fun experience. Reminds me of the art class I took last year with the linoleum wood print making. This is called mono print making and works with a pexiglass where you put inks onto it and erase, wipe away, add more, splash a little here and there, or whatever you really want. Afterwards, you run the pexiglass through the press and print it onto your choice of paper and let it dry over the next few days. Having been the first time doing this in this particular style, I’ll say it was a good experience and want to do more of these.

Day 10 - Today I really felt like a kid again cause in Art 272 we used our rolls of twine and white elmer’s glue create some sort of design/pattern onto wax paper. I had nothing in plan so I just worked it off the top of my head and came up with a yin yang design with circles surrounding it. We plan on letting them dry over the next two days and then taking them off the wax paper to frame around the classroom somehow.

Day 9 - Another long day, but after the stressful school part, I got to enjoy the rest of the day with my girlfriend :] We met up at central, finished up some homework, and then went to eat at Kimchi Bistro. It’s been a while, so I had the bulgogi plate which was delicious. Headed home afterwards and must say, it’s been a good day.

Day 8 - It’s been another long day at work and love playing MW3 with my brother and sister though I really suck at it, not being modest at all haha. He went positive in this game, and it was one of his best KD’s with a 31:11.

Day 7 - It’s been a really busy day, but I’d have to say that I ended it with a really good time. Ended the day with two parties: a big family gathering for my dad’s side of the family at Be’s Crawfish Grill and my girlfriend’s mom’s birthday at Oriental Express. Spending time with my family and my new family has been amazing. 生日快樂 Mom, I hope you’ve had a great time with everything that has happened in your life so far, and enjoy all the more that in in store for you in the future.

California Roll - It’s been a while since I’ve last had sushi let alone been with you guys and I really enjoyed spending time with you guys. Gossip was great, Kaname was great, and overall time with you guys was even more great.

Paper Triangle - It’s a little something I almost always do when I go to any restaurant. Just a little work with the paper left over from the chopsticks, and you can make something like this.

Day 6 - Today has been truly memorable :] It’s the first Friday of winter quarter ‘12 and I’d have to say that I spent it incredibly well. Finished the day early at 1050am, visited Anna at GHS, had some bakery at “A Piece of Cake Bakery”, hung out with close my close friends who I haven’t been with in a long time, dinner at Kaname Restaurant, and finishing it with my family at home. Here’s a fruit tart from “A Piece of Cake” and though it was somewhat pricey at $4, I’d say it was worth it. Today has just been great :]

Day 5 - Can’t believe I ran on one hour of sleep from 5am-6am yet was still able to go through my long day. After class, I visited the Wing Luke Museum with Anna for her project and found some interesting arts which caught my eye. Here lies a carefully, time consuming, precise glass work that forms a tall narrow pyramid that glimmers in the light.

Day 4 - It’s really been a long day and there hasn’t been much for me to shoot since I was scared of shooting during the rainy weather.. must find a way around this. But here’s a lantern that Anna and I got my sister for Christmas along with other gifts. Thinking about it, even when everything goes dark, you get lost, can’t find your way, there’s always that “something” that leads you into the light.

Day 3 - First day of winter quarter ‘12 and I only had one class. It was Art 272 - study of real space and it was in a part of the art building I’ve never been in. Hidden around the corner towards the back of the building I found my classroom with a few students waiting for those doors to open.
